The Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival is a great, fun-filled weekend event held in Canby, Oregon the end of each September.  It showcases the fibers of goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas, and rabbits both through live shows and exhibits.  Other natural and plant fibers are also featured.  It is an outstanding event for fiber enthusiasts and their families.  Please check out their website.

During my first two summers of Pygora goat ownership, flies were a real nuisance in my barns.  I hung MANY, MANY fly tapes trying to give my goats some relief since I wasn't interested in using chemical pesticides.
